Navigating the Complexities of Insurance Claims with Collision Claims Advisors

At Collision Claims Advisors, we understand that the insurance claims process can be overwhelming and often frustrating. With over 23 years of experience in the collision industry and collaboration with thousands of collision centers across the nation, we’ve encountered it all. Unfortunately, the collision repair industry is rife with deceptive practices by both insurance companies and collision centers, which often go unnoticed by untrained consumers—putting real lives and vehicles at risk.

These unethical practices often begin with insurance companies pressuring collision centers to cut costs through unfair tactics. This can lead to legitimate claims being denied, the process being delayed, and consumers being misled. Insurance companies frequently force repair facilities and consumers to overlook manufacturer requirements, push for the use of substandard parts, and even misinform customers about the critical importance of these manufacturer guidelines.

Having witnessed these practices firsthand, I’ve seen how collision centers struggle to maintain customer satisfaction while staying profitable. Often, they face a difficult ethical dilemma, forced to choose between protecting their customers' interests or making decisions that seem easier in the short term but may not serve the best long-term outcomes.

So, who can you trust in this complicated process?

Over the years, I’ve told my clients that insurance companies operate under two primary principles: First, that you don’t know your rights, and second, that even if you did, you wouldn’t act on them. That’s why I founded Collision Claims Advisors—to stand against these deceptive practices and bring transparency to the claims process. While I may not be able to change the entire industry single-handedly, I am committed to creating a forum that helps consumers navigate these challenges and hold those we should be able to trust accountable.

Our services are designed to protect your interests, providing collision centers with an unbiased, third-party resource to aid in the claim settlement process. Together, we can ensure that the claims process is fair, transparent, and truly in the best interest of the consumer.
